This is also known as your rate cap.
LOGiC helps manage this by grouping hotels into budget areas and applying your company’s subsistence limits accordingly.
Budget Areas
Hotels are typically categorised based on location:
🏙️ London – All hotels within Greater London
🌆 Major Destinations – Larger cities like Edinburgh or Birmingham
🏡 Provinces – Smaller towns and regional areas

How LOGiC Displays Budget Information
Each hotel shows:
The budget area
The subsistence limit
A Book arrow colour-coded to reflect whether the rate is in or out of budget
For multi-night bookings, subsistence is based on the most expensive night of your stay.
What the Colours Mean
Arrow Colour | Meaning | Action |

| Within budget | ✅ You can book the hotel with no restrictions | |
| Over budget | ✏️ You must enter a reason for booking out of budget. You might also need approval before completing your booking. | |
| Blocked | 🚫 Your company does not allow over-budget bookings. You'll need to select a different hotel |
