When you make a booking in LOGiC, your email address is automatically filled into the Confirmation Email Address field.
However, the confirmation might go to someone else if:
✏️ You manually change the email address in the field
🌐 Your browser auto-fills the field with saved information
How Browser Auto-Fill Can Affect Bookings
Browsers like Chrome and Edge often save details like your name or email from previous forms. This can lead to incorrect auto-fills — even if you didn’t notice it.
🔵 Auto-filled fields often appear with a light blue highlight, but it’s easy to miss.
That’s why we strongly recommend always double-checking:
✔️ The guest’s name
✔️ The Confirmation Email Address
Example Scenario
1. The booker logs into LOGiC and starts a hotel booking.
→ Their email auto-populates into the Confirmation Email Address field.
2. The booker clicks into the Surname field to enter guest details.
→ Their browser suggests previous details — including a guest name and email.
→ They select it, thinking it’s correct.
3. The browser overwrites the guest name and the email with a saved one (e.g. "johnsmith@email.com").
→ Now, John Smith receives the booking confirmation instead of the booker.
How to Avoid This
✅ Always select the guest profile from the drop-down menu in LOGiC.
❌ Avoid clicking on browser suggestions that appear above the form fields.
⚙️ You can disable or manage auto-fill settings in your browser if needed.
